Advantages of ceramic materials
High hardness, scratch resistance and wear resistance: Made of precision ceramics (such as zirconia), it has a hardness far exceeding that of stainless steel. It is not easy to produce scratches during daily wear and can maintain a long-lasting luster.
Lightweight and comfortable to wear: It is lighter than metal materials, reducing the burden on the wrist and is suitable for long-term wear.
Allergy-free and corrosion-resistant: Ceramics have stable chemical properties, are not likely to cause skin sensitivity, and are resistant to sweat and corrosion.
Unique texture: The surface is finely polished or matte-treated, presenting a deep luster or a low-key texture. A total of three color schemes are launched, namely black, white and the rare blue. -
Case and strap design
Integrated structure: The APS case and strap are seamlessly connected, continuing the iconic octagonal bezel of the Royal Oak and the “Tapisserie” guilloché dial. The ceramic material gives it a modern feel.
Complex craftsmanship: The sintering and molding of ceramic materials used by APS is extremely difficult, requiring precise control of temperature and pressure, and the yield rate is low, highlighting its technical strength.
Detail processing: The links of the strap are chamfered and polished, with soft edges, fitting the wrist comfortably when worn; the thickness of the case is approximately 10.5 millimeters, taking into account both complex craftsmanship and wearing comfort.
