The newly launched Richard Mille RM055 from APS focuses on lightweight and stylish design. All the metal components are made from titanium, consistent with the original version (both visible and hidden metal components are all titanium). As a symbol of entry for billionaires, we use the Dandong customized RMUL2 movement, which is currently the highest version of the movement on the market. The case, strap, and all accessories are as follows:
- Movement: The RMUL2 movement, developed by Dandong over a long period, has undergone extensive testing and is highly stable. The finishing is on point, and while the old version used round machine feet, we have adopted the newer version with heart-shaped feet, just like the original.
- Case: We spared no expense in using imported NTPT carbon fiber for the case (which is a costly material). Its strength is superior to that of steel, and it sparkles under sunlight, providing a metallic sheen.
- Strap: The strap is made from natural fluoroelastomer, molded as one piece, with no flash marks. The strap attachment screws are also made of titanium, making them strong yet lightweight.
- Crystal: The crystal is made from a high-arc sapphire, with very high production costs. It features a dual-sided anti-reflective coating for enhanced clarity and precision. The separate assembly design, identical to the original, ensures superior craftsmanship.
- Screws: All screws are made from titanium and are finished with a dark gray electroplating process. Whether for the case or strap, no shortcuts are taken — all screws are made from titanium, just like the original.
