The RM12-01 NTPT Tourbillon Exceptional Sports Skeletonized Streamlined Watch by Richard Mille revisits the legendary RM012 movement, integrating material innovations with watchmaking architecture. The RM12-01 Tourbillon watch features the RM12-01 Tourbillon and offers multiple limited editions exclusively at its American stores.
The case structure of the new RM12-01 Tourbillon watch follows the tripartite principle, combining all case parts together. The lines of the movement are inspired by the structural forms of architectural design, with tubular inclined structures providing optimal stiffness and torsional rigidity, along with excellent heat and corrosion resistance. The functions of the baseplate are uniquely integrated with the functions of the movement and bridges, forming a technically coherent and visually inseparable whole. The movement is proudly displayed through a perfect combination of grinding, satin finishing, circular finishing, and high polishing. Its integrated baseplate is inspired by racing car chassis, enhancing rigidity and impact resistance. Notably, the sharp streamlined curves of the skeletonized bridges surrounding the barrel, large wheel, and tourbillon extend to the end of the manually wound movement.
The RM12-01 is limited in quantity and available in Black Carbon TPT, Red Quartz TPT, and White Quartz TPT. Size: 42mm x 51mm, thickness 16mm.
