• Case: The 40mm case, masterfully crafted with a combination of vertical brushing, circular brushing, and polished surfaces, offers a refined, smooth contour. With a thickness of just 10.7mm, it embodies both elegance and functionality.
• Bezel & Bracelet: The bezel is securely fastened with 5 screws, while the redesigned H-shaped bracelet, along with ergonomic lugs, ensures an exceptionally comfortable fit on the wrist.
• Dial: The standout feature is the intricate “grid” pattern on the dial, a tribute to the original Ingenieur SL design. This pattern is created by stamping grooves into the iron base, followed by galvanic treatment. The smooth outer dial surrounding the minute markers contrasts beautifully with the textured inner dial. The placement of the IWC logo has been meticulously aligned with the “grid” pattern. The hour markers are coated with luminous material, ensuring optimal legibility even in low light.
• Hands & Layout: Featuring a classic three-hand layout, the hour markers and second hand stay true to the 1970s design. A date window is positioned at 3 o’clock, with the iconic “INGENIEUR” marking at 6 o’clock.
